It can start from inflammation

pulp. Trauma, dental cavities and infection can cause inflammation to the pulp.
There can be toothache symptoms with referred pain from jaw. Pain can become
severe with increase in inflammation. Toothache can be the result of pain with
chewing, bleeding around gums, and swelling around teeth, injury and hot or
cold sensitivity. There can dental gum disease or dental decay with these
signs. Pain can become intense infected tooth is tapped. The pain of deeper
structure can be felt in tooth. You should resort to the help of dentist to
pinpoint pain source.

the counter medications can not relieve dental pain.
- there
can be severe pain when tooth is pulled because tooth socket is exposed to the
air. You should see dentist immediately in this condition.

can be pain due to gum swelling. There can be fever as well with dental pain
and disease.
- there
can be broken or knocked out teeth due to injury which should be treated
immediately. It can lead to permanent tooth loss.

is pain when mouth is opened widely. It can be due to injury or due to eating
something too big.

can be pain due to wisdom pain due to inflammation of gums around erupted
crowns. It can happen in the lower third molars which can extent to the ear and
jaw.
There can
be pain because of chest pain, trauma, heart disease and rashes. You should

you have chills or high fever which can indicate infection requiring
antibiotics

you have head or face injury and you are having lightheadedness, headache,

if your pain is associated with sweating, shortness of breath and
lightheadedness.

should consult your dentist if you have history of diabetes, weakened immune
system and steroid use.
